Greater Southern Area Health Service (GSAHS) has recently won the prestigious NATIONAL ACCOLADES FOR EXCELLENCE – the new awards program for the nationally focused Community Services and Health Industry Skills Council (ISC), The Nationals Member for Riverina, Kay Hull, has advised.
GSAHS has been recognised for their program designed to develop new workforce roles in the local health sector to address the current staff shortages.
“The program allows locals to study and gain qualifications locally, which is such a great initiative,” Mrs. Hull said.
“I would like to congratulate all those who have been involved in the program.
“I am a strong supporter of building relationships between industry and education providers so that the community can maintain adequate levels of qualified professionals.
