Free small business advice and support is now available over the phone, through the Small Business Support Line, The Nationals Member for Riverina, Kay Hull, has advised.
The operators can provide information on a range of business issues including business planning and government support programs, or they will direct calls to the appropriate area, such as the Tax Office, if necessary.
Operators have also been trained by ‘beyondblue’ to help callers who may be suffring from depression or personal issues associated with running a small business.
“Whilst a telephone service does not offer the personalised service that was available under the Coalition Government, I would encourage Riverina small businesses to utilise the free support line,” Mrs. Hull said.
“The number to call is 1800 777 275, between 8am and 6pm weekdays,” Mrs. Hull said.
