Laurie Lawrence has produced a comprehensive, free water safety DVD, available to all parents and caregivers of children under 5 years of age, The Nationals Member for Riverina, Kay Hull, has advised.

“Sadly, since the year 2000, over three hundred children under 5 have drowned in Australia,” Mrs Hull said.

“This number is frightfully high and really highlights the importance of water safety.

“Laurie Lawrence has provided my office with copies of the DVD. Parents and carers can call into either my Wagga Wagga or Griffith office for a free copy, or simply call the office on 6921 4600 and we will send one out in the mail.

“I would like to congratulate Laurie for all of his work in promoting water safety for children,” Mrs. Hull said.
